1. Scope

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed on the La Tabdhir platform (latabdhir.ae and app.latabdhir.ae). The Platform is owned and operated by Souhib TRABELSI FZE, a Free Zone Establishment registered with Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (trade licence no. 4429733.01).

2. Service area

La Tabdhir operates exclusively within the United Arab Emirates and across all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. International shipping and cross-border delivery are not offered.

3. Fulfilment methods

La Tabdhir is a surplus-food marketplace. Orders are fulfilled in one of two ways:

  • Pickup at the store (primary method): the customer collects the order in person at the partner restaurant or grocery store during the pickup window selected at checkout.
  • Store-arranged delivery (where offered): the partner store delivers the order to an address inside its delivery zone, using its own riders or a third-party delivery partner. Delivery availability, delivery zone and any delivery fee are defined by each individual store and shown at checkout.

4. Pickup process

  • Pickup window: at checkout, you select a time slot defined by the store (for example, “Lunch 12:00–14:00”). The order must be collected within this window.
  • Pickup location: the partner store’s address shown on the Platform and in the order confirmation email.
  • Pickup code: present the unique pickup code (provided in the confirmation email and in the app) to the store at the time of handover.
  • Identification: for orders paid online, the store may ask to see the order confirmation in the app for verification.

5. Delivery process (where offered)

  • Delivery window: typically 30–60 minutes from the start of the selected slot, defined by each store.
  • Delivery address: you are responsible for providing a complete and accurate UAE delivery address at checkout.
  • Contact requirement: you must be reachable on the phone number provided at checkout during the delivery window.
  • Failed delivery attempts: if the delivery rider cannot reach you, or the address is incorrect, the order may be cancelled and treated as a no-show under section 7.
  • Delivery fees: any delivery fee is set by the partner store and disclosed at checkout. La Tabdhir does not currently charge an additional platform delivery fee.

6. Order processing time

Surplus food orders are not shipped from a central warehouse. Each order is prepared and made available by the partner store for the pickup or delivery window selected at checkout. Order confirmations are issued immediately by email; the food is ready for collection or delivery at the start of the chosen window.

7. Missed pickups and no-shows

  • If the order is not collected during the pickup window and was not cancelled in advance (at least 2 hours before the start of the window), it is treated as a no-show. No refund is issued for online payments in this case (see our Refund & Return Policy).
  • Repeated no-shows may result in temporary or permanent restriction of your customer account in line with our Terms of Service.

8. Order tracking and notifications

You will receive email notifications at the following milestones: order confirmation, payment confirmation (for online payments), pickup reminder shortly before the window opens, and order completion. Order status is also visible in real time in the customer app at app.latabdhir.ae.

9. Cancellations by the store

Because La Tabdhir lists surplus food, occasional out-of-stock situations can occur. If a store cancels an order after payment, the full amount is refunded automatically through our licensed payment service provider in line with our Refund & Return Policy. You will be notified by email as soon as the cancellation is recorded.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
