1. Purpose of this page

This page explains, in clear terms, how La Tabdhir orders and ranks the surprise bags and stores shown on its marketplace (latabdhir.ae and app.latabdhir.ae), and the relative importance of the main parameters used. It is published in line with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Online Food Delivery Platform Guidelines, which require platforms to disclose their ranking parameters transparently. The Platform is operated by Souhib TRABELSI FZE (trade licence no. 4429733.01).

2. How the marketplace is organised

The marketplace is grouped into curated sections to help you find relevant offers quickly, for example:

  • Best near you — bookable bags closest to your location.
  • Available now / closing soon — bags whose pickup window is open or ending soon.
  • New stores — recently added partners.
  • By category — restaurants, cafés, bakeries, grocery and other store types.
  • Sold out / back tomorrow / temporarily closed — shown separately and clearly labelled, so an unavailable store is never presented as bookable.

3. Main ranking parameters and their relative importance

Within a section (and within your chosen sort order), listings are ordered using the following objective parameters. The most important parameters are listed first:

  1. Proximity (distance) — how close the store is to your chosen location. This is the primary factor for the “near you” experience and a tiebreaker elsewhere.
  2. Availability and pickup timing — whether the bag is currently available and how soon its pickup window closes (bags available now and closing sooner are surfaced first).
  3. Customer ratings — the average rating left by other customers for the store/offer.
  4. Price and discount — the discounted price of the bag.
  5. Recency — newly added stores may be highlighted so they are discoverable.

When you have not chosen a specific sort, the default order favours offers you can actually pick up soon (availability and pickup time), then proximity.

4. Your controls

You are always in control of the order. On the marketplace you can re-sort the listings at any time by distance, customer rating, price, or availability first, and you can filter by store category, food category, distance radius and delivery options.

5. No paid ranking

Ranking and placement on La Tabdhir are never influenced by a store’s subscription plan, by any commission it pays, or by any other payment to La Tabdhir. Stores cannot pay for a higher position. If we ever introduce a clearly-labelled paid or sponsored placement in the future, it will be explicitly marked as such and disclosed here, as required by the DET Guidelines.

6. Personalisation

The only personalisation applied to ranking is your location(used to show nearby options and compute distances) and the filters you choose. We do not rank results based on behavioural profiling or on the price you might be willing to pay.

7. Changes and contact

If we change how listings are ranked, we will update this page. For any question about ranking, contact us at support@latabdhir.ae.
